Javed Hyder Is Not Selling Vegetables; Did It For Tiktok
Reports had been doing the rounds that actor Javed Hyder, who had shared screen with Aamir Khan in Ghulam, has been facing financial crisis. He had shared a video of him selling vegetables on the roadside on his TikTok account, and the song playing in the background was -'Duniya Mein aaya hai toh kaam kar pyaar'. Dolly Bindra took notice of this and shared the video on her Twitter. She wrote, "He is an actor aaj woh sabzi bech raha hain javed hyder. No work due to lockdown mahamari #COVID19." See her tweet:
He had also posted a similar video of selling vegetables earlier as well:
But it looks like Javed is doing fine and the actor himself has now clarified it. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, he said, "Main bhaji wala nahi hoon. TikTok main naya kuch lana tha kyunki maine abhi abhi join kiya hain. Abhi jo desh ki halat hain, log suicide kar rahe, chori kar rahe, woh sab na karke himmat na haar ke mehnaat kare, bas yahi message pohchani thi.” ( I am not a vegetable seller. I have just joined TikTok and I wanted to put some new content. Now, the condition of the nation is such that people are killing themselves, or stealing things; they should rather not lose determination and just work harder. That's the message I wanted to convey).
Javed also added that he is not in a financial crisis, but if he ever is, he won't shy away from selling vegetables. Well, it's heartening to hear that the actor is doing fine. He has worked in many TV serials as well, like Jennie and Juju.
