Mission Mangal Trailer: Akshay, Sonakshi, Vidya, Taapsee Starrer Is All About Defying The Impossible

The trailer for Mission Mangal is finally here. This is a film that would explore how a team of scientists in ISRO defied all the odds to reach an impossible feat of launching the first satellite from India to Mars. While the posters seem to suggest that Akshay Kumar is the man here, the film is about all who are a part.

Akshay does get a wee bit more screen time, even in the trailer, but that may be so because he is the the mission director who has to inspire and keep everyone motivated despite ‘impossible’ ringing from everywhere around him.  

The film has a number of stars who can make it a treat to watch. There are talented stars like Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Sonakshi Sinha. Nithya Menen will be all set to make her Bollywood debut with this one and there would also be Sharman Joshi. At the heart of it, the trailer drives home the point that all the scientists are basically super simple people with problems just like all of us, but how they overcome their personal setbacks to reach a height where they do not even let the sky limit them.

The trailer also reveals that there would be significant amount of dramatisation in this one. Well, just to caution all, there is a dialogue that goes, “Humari har samashya ka marammat agar Nasa se karwane jayenge, toh humara Satyanasa ho jaega.” Well, well, did we really need this bad wordplay here?
