Gallan Goriyan: John Abraham And Mrunal Thakur Remind Us How Shaadis Used To Be Before Corona!

Batla House pair John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur have collaborated once again, this time for a music video. The song Gallan Goriyan, which seems to be an extended version of Batla House itself that did not make it to the final cut, has John and Mrunal playing ‘ankh micholi’ at their friends wedding.

The song is a shaadi song that would definitely remind  you how happening and colourful shaadis used to be before corona. Yes, there is the bride and the groom, putting mehendi, having ceremony and their friends dancing. There’s also a lot of human contact, something that we have probably forgotten the the last few months!

The video is more or less repetitive- there’s John being himself and stealing a glance or two of the girl he is fancying at the wedding. He is also wearing specs (Batla House?).

Mrunal is playing ankh micholi too, but she is doing lot more than that, like running around and dancing like there’s no tomorrow!
