Bell Bottom Day 4 Box-Office: Akshay Kumar starrer sees a jump on Sunday, collects over 12.50 crores on the first weekend
Bell Bottom Day 4 Box-Office
Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Adil Hussain starrer Bell Bottom has been the first major film to release in theatres after restrictions were lifted. It had released on Thursday, and the collections on the first three days could not go beyond 3 crores INR. However, on Sunday it saw a jump in its collections.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the fourth-day collection of Bell Bottom was around 4.45 to 4.65 crores INR. That means the extended first-weekend collection went close to 12.5 crores INR. On the first two days, the film had collected around 2.75 crores INR while on Saturday it collected somewhere between 2.75-3 crores INR.
This is also the biggest single-day collection of any film in 2021. Before this, Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Roohi had collected approx 3.80 crores INR on its fourth day. The contributing factor can be the fact that it was a holiday, and Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on Sunday. The numbers are great, given theatres in Mumbai and Pune are not operational, and these cities are key contributors in the box-office collection. We hope that the numbers will only increase on the second week, before another new film- Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre- hits the theatres.
