Here's Why Parth Samthaan Is The Most Controversial TV Celeb Ever!

Partrh Samthaan seems to be controversy's favourite child. The TV actor, who shot to fame by playing Manik Malhotra in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan, has been dating controversies for quite some while. One controversy does not even die down before his name gets linked to a fresh controversy. Recently, the actor was booked under protection of children from sexual offences act (POCSO) for allegedly harassing a model. 

Here are all the controversies that Parth Samthaan has been linked to:

1. The WhatsApp controversy

Apparently Parth had allegedly created a WhatsApp group called "Wh*res And More Wh*res" where he added more male friends and co-stars and discussed their sexual conquests with women to great details! However, the screenshots of the group was leaked. Parth clarified and said that somebody had hacked into his social media account and did all this to malign him!

However, his co-star from Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan, Utkarsh Gupta confirmed the existance of such group and TV actor Karan Patel also criticised him for disrespecting women.

2. Abusing co-star Niti Taylor

In the WhatsApp group, theere was an audio clip too where Parth samthaan could be heard abusing and foul mouthing co-star Niti Taylor. While Parth said all that in a drunk state, Niti was clearly disappointed. She posted a long note via Twitter in which she did not take any name but understably lashed out at Parth!

3. The longstanding controversy with producer Vikas Gupta

on December 2015, Parth had filed a police complaint against the producer of 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan', Vikas Gupta, alleging him of molestation, defamation, non-payment of dues, and extortion. He said that he wanted his dues of 5.5 lakh which Vikash wasn't paying. He also accused that Vikas was trying to ruin his career and asked a ransom of 50 lakh!

Things took a different turn when their common friend Ekta Kapoor said that Parth and Vikas were in a relationship and that Parth had filed the complaint when their relationship ended. She said:

“Vikas and Parth were close to each other and were in a relationship. Parth has accused Vikas of touching him inappropriately on December 7, 2013 and 20 days later, he was with Vikas holidaying in Bangkok! I know because I was also there to bring in the New Year. I have seen several videos of him professing his love for Vikas. The reason Parth has become bitter towards Vikas who gave him a break in his TV show is because the relationship came to an end. But he seems to have forgotten that he has a career thanks to Vikas, who groomed him and presented him. They were together for over three years. It’s very convenient to turn around and accuse your lover of being a molestor/rapist. You see starlets doing it all the time. Now male actors seem to have started using this tactic as well.”

Parth contradicted the statement and said that it was not possible since he was in a heterosexual relationship before with Disha Patani!

Many also claimed that Vikas was the reason Disha broke up with Parth. 

Vikas came up with proof to validate his point and posted a cosy picture of the two together saying:

When you accuse that someone tried to touch u inappropriately and is threatning you . You dont do this . The boy who claimed I molested him and continues to torture me nd my family through his friends and fans . I don't know who is molesting who and touching inappropriately in this picture. Noone molested each other @the_parthsamthaan u r a liar and your legal notice is a lie and sham .
You will not insult another family member and friend again .

Another video of Parth Samthaan in red boxers was also leaked. It was apparently from a holiday that Parth took to Bangkok with Vikas!

4. When Splitsvilla contestant Gaurav aka Gauri Arora validated the same!

Gaurav Arora, who recently changed his gender and assumed the name Gauri Arora, said that he ha fallen for Parth when he came to the Splitsvilla house to meet a friend. He never tooki any name explicitely but everything pointed towards Parth Samthaan. Gaurav said:

“The guy was acting in one of the biggest shows on MTV, in which he played a college rock star. He came on the set of ‘Splitsvilla’ for a couple of days, not as a participant, but to meet his boyfriend. I was a fan of his and fell for him when he approached me. He told me that he has to be in the closet since he is a celebrity. He left TV for a film. I don’t want to name him as he has been mired in controversies with his producer boyfriend and I don’t want my coming out to become a publicity for him. I believe in karma and it will come back to him. He has not only hurt me but has done worse to his boyfriend of many years who technically made him what he is today.” 

5. Molestation charges

The actor has recently been accused of molesting a 20 year old model.The model hadfiled a complaint to Mumbai Police saying that Parth had asked her for sexual favours and when she repeatedly turned them down, she started getting lewd calls from other men. The statement read:

“I have known him for more than 4 years. Parth has on many occasions tried to propose me- not for a relationship but having a good time. Which I have very politely turned down. It might be cool in his group for women to sleep around with him and I have no issues with other girls and the choices they make but I have a different value system. After returning from a party in an alcoholic state, Parth misbehaved with me. After which I stopped contact with him for some time and he really apologised and as we have been friends for years, I decided to forgive him for the behaviour but soon after that, I started getting insulting and shameful calls from boys who would want favours from me.”

Parth initially said that it was Vikas who framed him into all this and that things are sorted, a fresh charge has been put on him. Since the model was harassed for 4 years, which means from the time she was 16 years old and an underage, Parth was booked under Section 8 and 12 of POSCO Act on April 23, 2017!
