    Malayali Actor Jishnu, 36, Dies Battling Cancer

    Malayali actor Jishnu Raghavan Alingkil has passed away on March 25 at a private hospital in Kochi. Jishu, who was battling cancer from quite some time, was 36-year-old when he took his last breath. The actor was detected with the disease two years back and after undergoing the treatment he was cured completely. But unfortunately, the cancer had relapsed last year and since then Jishnu had been ailing.

    Every day was a battle for Jishnu but the actor didn’t ever lose the zeal for living. On March 8, he had shared an inspiring message on Facebook, which read, “Being positive and always smiling makes a lot of difference. I'm in ICU now, nothing to worry this is kind of my second home now”.

    It continued, “I have fun here. I started smiling at every situation now especially the nurses who take care of me. Trust me it made a lot of difference. They do a tough job of treating pain and in I C U things r worse but by smiling and being jovial creates such a good atmosphere that everything just gets better, it's magic... smile is magic...try it”. Jishnu Raghavan Alingkil who made his debut as a child artist in ‘Kilipatt’ (1987), had also starred in ‘Nammal’ in a prominent role.
