Sanchari Vijay Talks About His Next Titled ‘Riktha’

The national award winning actor Sanchari Vijay is quite excited about his upcoming flick titled Riktha. From a lover boy to a drunkard and a comedian, the actor has four to five different shades to his characters reportedly. Vijay says that the music of the film had played a major role in signing the flick.

The actor told TOI, “When the director, Amruth Kumar, approached me for the movie, I was apprehensive and told him that it wouldn't work, but he was confident that I could do justice to the role. My character has many different shades, as does the movie. It isn't possible to classify it under a specific genre as it has elements of horror, comedy and love, but you could call it a horror comedy. Although the story is unique, it is the music that is the film's trump card; I agreed to do it after I heard the songs. I've turned singer with Riktha”.

When he was asked if he is purposely choosing movies of different genres, he said, “I would like to do different roles, but not everyone creates them. So I'm going with the flow. But most makers approach me with challenging roles, which I am happy to do”.
