Ravichandaran, Ganesh In Rap Song Of ‘Mungaru Male 2’

‘The Show Man’ of Kannada cinema, V. Ravichandran, and the supreme star, Ganesh, are all set to share the screen space as a father-son duo in ‘Mungaru Male 2’. This project is being helmed by Shashank. The director has decided to portray the close father-son relationship in an exclusively way, reportedly, through a rap song.

The sequel to the 2006 Kannada film ‘Mungaru Male’ has a song ‘My Daddy Is My Hero’, composed by Arjun Janya. Chandan Shetty has written the lyrics of the track. The director, Shashank, explains, “Murali is the choreographer, and the picturization of this song has, perhaps, made it the most expensive song shot in our industry. We wanted it to look stylish and classy to suit the onscreen image of both our stars. The bond the two portray is one that everybody can relate to — and probably wish that their father or son were like what they see onscreen.”

He further adds, “Ravichandaran is the reason I am a director today. He has been my biggest inspiration. I am thankful to have gotten the opportunity to direct my idol for the first time with this film.” Neha Shetty is the lead lady in ‘Mungaru Male 2’ which is slated to release on September 9.
