Nagathihalli Chandrashekar back to Sandalwood after 3 years

Writer-filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekar is all geared up to start working for his next venture. The director confirmed that he is ready with the script. He further added that cast has not been finalized yet. This will apparently be his 14th film as a director in 23 years. His last film Breaking News starring Ajay Rao and Radhika Pandit hit the screens on May 18, 2012.

"I was too busy with my family affairs and two years went by in a flash. My daughter's wedding put me away from any work. The wedding was also delayed by six months and other plans had to be postponed," Nagathihalli said.

“The script I had prepared became too big in terms of money. It had a huge canvas and the budget estimates made it look like a big Hindi film. Friends who went through it suggested that I should not take such a big risk in terms of money now. I had to come up with a new script. This too is a big film but not in the scale of the film I had planned earlier," he added.
