Deepa Gowda Talks About Her Role In Jwalantham

After basking in success for ‘Last Bus’, Deepa Gowda is gearing up for the release of her next film. The actress will be next seen in Jwalantham, which is releasing this week. Deepa is playing the role of a journalist in the film.

Deepa was quoted as saying, “When I was called for the script-reading session, I really liked the role. The team was looking for someone who could play a bold and outspoken character. I was the first to be auditioned, but the team did not get back to me for a fortnight, as they were auditioning 50-odd prospects. Finally, the role came to me, and I am happy I got it”.

Deepa further said that her role in the film takes an inspiration from Kangana Ranaut's role in Bollywood film Queen. “The movie revolves around the hero and my character, which kind of makes us the pillars that the story is built on. I am very sure that my role in this film will take me a long way in the Kannada film industry”, she added.
