Larry D. Mann passes away at age 91
Canadian actor Larry D. Mann of 1967 flick ‘In the Heat of the Night’, died yesterday at the age of 91. The actor died in Los Angeles and as told by his son Richard Mann, Larry departed this life of age-related causes.
Mann commenced his acting career with Television series Ad and Lib in 1954 but soon hopped on to the big screen in 1963 with The Quick and the Dead. After then, he worked in numerous projects like Return to Oz, Dead Men Tell No Tales, Do Not Fold, Spindle, or Mutilate, Columbo: Murder Under Glass and many more. He also worked as a voice over artist in various ventures and his remarkable performance include voicing Yukon Cornelius in animated film Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Larry, in spite of giving splendid contributions, took retirement in 1991. His last movie was in 1980A Snow White Christmas, where he voiced as a mirror. His last Television show was Love, Lies and Murder in 1991. Larry was also a disk jockey at Toronto in 1949 on a radio station 1050 CHUM. We wish that his soul rests in peace!
