Kit Harington, New Star for Brimstone

Known for his role as Jon Snow in the hit series, Game of Thrones, Kit Harington will be replacing Robert Pattinson in the upcoming flick, Brimstone. Harington’s character was recently killed off in the finale of Game of Thrones. The 28-year-old English actor will be cast alongside Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce in the movie.

During the Berlin Film Festival, Robert Pattinson, who was the star of the Twilight series, was reported to feature in Brimstone. He plays the role of Dennis Stock in Life, set to release later this year. The 29-year-old actor will also be working on two projects, The Lost City of Z and The Trap.

The role of Harington in Brimstone is currently unclear. The story will focus on leading lady Liz (Dakota Fanning) who is trying to escape a devilish Preacher, played by Guy Pearce. The flick is written and directed by Martin Koolhover and will be released in 2016.
