    Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield recently revealed that it was incredibly inspiring for him to portray a disabled role in his upcoming film Breathe. According to latest reports, the actor plays Robin Cavendish, who is suffering from polio in real-life. The film also marks debut directorial of Andy Serkis.

    The 34-year-old actor said, “'I'm an able-bodied actor playing someone who is disabled. It was wonderful, incredibly inspiring. I got to learn a lot about myself and my privilege and the things that I take for granted”. He further added, “The fact that I have a body and I can move it. That's one of the main things I took away from the film”.

    The film was a learning experience for the actor. He said that he could learn about the kind of adversity the man has faced and gone through in his life. Even after his suffering, he has yet he had a unquenchable spirit and the desire to live, which was incredibly uplifting and inspiring for the actor. Breathe also stars 'The Crown' actor Claire Foy in the lead.
