Home Alone Star Macaulay Culkin Reveals Why He Left Hollywood
According to the latest updates, Home Alone child artist Macaulay Culkin has recently asserted that his father, Kit Culkin, abused him mentally and physically, which directed him to leave the Hollywood industry. He said that his father threatened him saying, “Do good or I'll hit you”.
The 37-year-old actor said that his father was a wicked man, who was jealous of him. He further stated, “He was abusive. Physically and mentally. I can show you all my scars if I wanted to”. Moreover, the actor became famous in Hollywood after his stint in the 1989 film Uncle Buck and later he did 'Home Alone', where he played the character of Kevin McCallister.
Further, talking about his acting career, the actor said, “Everything he tried to do in life, I excelled at before I was 10 years old”. He also revealed that according to him, separating from his father was the best thing that has ever happened. The actor’s last film was Party Monster in the year 2003. However, the actor’s allegation is yet to be confirmed by his father.
