Gal Gadot Shares Insight On Wonder Woman

Israeli actress Gal Gadot essayed the role of Wonder Woman in the recently released film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. She will be reprising her role in a standalone movie as well which is currently underway. The actress recently spoke about her character during a Twitter Q&A.

Gadot was asked what it feels like being a role model for girls everywhere, to which she replied, “It feels great! Being a mother, it’s very important that #WonderWoman comes back to life, we need more female [superheroes].” Talking about her character, the actress stated that she loves “everything she stands for — compassion, love, truth, justice, equality. She’s a whole lot of woman!”

Another user asked Gadot if she had any kind of pre-shooting ritual, in response to which the actress posted, “Do my homework! For me it super super super important to come prepared to work. I might look tough but I’m a nerd”. Wonder Woman is being directed by Patty Jenkins and will hit the screens on June 23 next year.
