Elodie Yung boards ‘Gods of Egypt’
French actress Elodie Yung, who was last seen in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, will now be starring in Summit Entertainment’s upcoming titled ‘Gods of Egypt’ in a pivotal role. Elodie will essay the character of goddess Hathor in the flick. The adventure fantasy will be directed and co-written by Alex Proyas, along with Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
The film to hit theatres on February 12, 2016, revolves around a thief and a god, who are on a magical quest in ancient Egypt. The already signed cast includes Gerard Butler as Set, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Horus. Brenton Thwaites will depict Bek, while Ra will be portrayed by Geoffrey Rush. Chadwick Boseman and Courtney Eaton will essay Thoth and Zaya respectively. Yung has previously starred in District 13: Ultimatum, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and has her hands in Still, Dreck and 10 Things I Hate About Life.
