Daisy Ridley Unsure Of Starring In 'Star Wars: Episode IX'
The eighth instalment of the epic 'Star Wars' franchise is just around the corner. Starring Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and John Boyega, the movie is all set to grace silver screens on December 15, 2017. And now actress Daisy Ridley, who plays the role of Rey in the film, has revealed what she expects from 'Star Wars: Episode IX'.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the 25-year-old said that she in not sure whether she would play the role of Rey in the ninth instalment of the franchise. The ninth instalment will be directed by JJ Abrams and will release in 2019. Ridley said, "I am really, really excited to do the third thing and round it out, because ultimately, what I was signing on to was three films. So in my head, it's three films. I think it will feel like the right time to round it out."
Daisy first appeared in Star Wars movie as Rey in 2015's 'The Force Awakens’. Talking more, the British actress said, "For me, I didn't really know what I was signing on to. I hadn't read the script, but from what I could tell, it was really nice people involved, so I was just like, 'Awesome'. Now I think I am even luckier than I knew then, to be part of something that feels so like coming home now.” Star Wars: The Last Jedi is directed by Rian Johnson.
