Charlie Shotwell to Star In Horror Movie ‘Eli’
Paramount Players has roped in actor Charlie Shotwell of ‘Captain Fantastic’ and ‘The Glass Castle’ to star in the titular role in psychological horror film ‘Eli’. The movie is being directed by ‘Sinister 2’ director Ciaran Foy. Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing will rewrite the 2015 Black List script which was written by David Chirchirillo.
The story of the flick revolves secluded clinic where a boy named Eli, played by Shotwell, is being treated for a rare disease. Soon, the clinic becomes a haunted place leaving no way for the boy to move out. The movie is produced by Trevor Macy through his Intrepid Pictures banner and John Zaozirny through his Bellevue Productions.
Matt Alvarez will serve as the executive producer. Melinda Nishioka will co-produce the flick for Intrepid, while David O'Leary will co-produce for Bellevue. The film is slated to hit theatres on January 4, 2019. Charlie Shotwell will next be seen in Ridley Scott’s thriller ‘All the Money in the World’.
