Taapsee Pannu Honoured With ‘Most Powerful Woman of the Year’ Award

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is known for her remarkable roles in movies such as Naam Shabana, Pink and Baby. The actress has carved a niche for herself after portraying roles of a strong woman in most of her movies. Moreover, the actress has received praises for almost every movie she has starred in.

Recently, the actress was honoured with the ‘Most Powerful Woman of the Year’ award by a magazine. Regarding her felicitation with the award, Pannu was quoted as saying, “It's always nice and overwhelming when you are recognised not only for your craft, but for your choices as a person and what you stand for. These awards make a special place in achievements because they help to gain confidence and show that you are on the right track”.

Regarding her upcoming movies, the actor is set to star in an upcoming comedy movie ‘Judwaa 2’. The movie is helmed by David Dhawan and stars Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Varun Dhawan is playing double role in the upcoming movie which is slated to release on September 29.
