SRK’s Fan Will Be New And Original

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has claimed that his upcoming film Fan will have a different approach and will be new and original. The actor stated, “If you’re looking for novelty, then you should watch out for ‘Fan’. It’s a different kind of film, supposed to be a niche… It’s not meant to be a blockbuster releasing ahead of Christmas”.

The movie will have the actor play the role of an average man named Gaurav, who is a super-fan of Shah Rukh Khan, the actor. Talking about the film, SRK said that, “films and storytelling are novel in the storytelling of it, unless you have a completely niche or offbeat subject, and you take a subject not touched upon”. Fan will be unlike Shah Rukh latest film Dilwale which is a commercial entertainer.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Fan will be released on April 15 next year. The cast will include Waluscha De Sousa, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Deepika Amin and Yogendra Tiku, along with Shah Rukh. Aditya Chopra will be producing the film.
