Shilpa Shinde Makes A Bollywood Debut With An Item Song

The beautiful television actress, Shilpa Shinde, who charmed million people with her hilarious role of Angoori Devi in ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!’, is all set to dazzle the big screen. The actress is reportedly making her B-town debut with a peppy dance number in a film that features veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and stand-up comedian-cum-actor Vir Das. Seemingly, Angoori Bhabhi is very excited for this break in Bollywood.

Reportedly, the director of this touted film, Sanjay Chhel, was quoted speaking to Mumbai Mirror, “The film is a cross-cultural comedy with Rishi playing a boisterous Punjabi and Paresh, a traditional Gujarati. They share a Tom and Jerry kind of a relationship peppered with personality clashes. The special number is set during an engagement ceremony.”

Shilpa Shinde revealed, “It was the film’s last schedule and I didn’t want to lose out on the song. Rishi Kapoor had heard about me leaving the show and pointed out that I should not have got off a chalti gaadi, we are artistes. I told him, aag lagi aur mujhe koodna pada. Even Pareshji admitted that his wife (Swaroop Sampat) used to watch my show.”

Desimartini wishes the flawless actress, Shilpa, all the very best for her B-town debut and hopes that she gets many more Bollywood offers.
