Shahid Kapoor Speaks Up About Kangana Ranaut’s Comment On Rangoon Having 3 Heroes

Over a month back, actress Kangana Ranaut received her third National Award from President Pranab Mukherjee. It was at the same time when the Queen actress told a leading daily that there are three heroes in her upcoming period romance drama, Rangoon. Along with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, the Katti Batti actress mentioned her name also in the list.

Kangana’s statement, “There are three heroes in Rangoon. Shahid, Saif and Kangana”, expectedly grabbed her co-star Shahid’s attention. Amused by the announcement, the Haider actor said that the movie was actually a three heroine one. Here is how the R... Rajkumar star reacted to the comment.

“Why doesn’t she say there are three heroines in the film? Is there anything less in being a heroine? There are three protagonists in the film and for me, being a hero or a heroine doesn’t make any difference”, stated Shahid.

“So, if saying that you being a hero makes you a bigger person, I don’t agree with that thought process”, added the 35-year-old actor.
