Rishi Kapoor Was About To Quit ‘Kapoor & Sons’
The trailer of Shakun Batra’s multi-starrer ‘Kapoor & Sons’ was released last month by the makers. Other than the impressive and intense acting of the cast, there was one thing more to notice in the trailer. It was Rishi Kapoor and his spectacular make-up.
The actor will be seen playing a 90-year-old man in the flick. The veteran actor revealed that he was about to quit the film twice. He said, "I didn’t have fun working for Shakun Batra in Kapoor & Sons. You see I worked for 30-32 days on this film. Not a single day passed when Shakun and I didn’t fight. It was not a creative fight. It was something else. We fought because I couldn’t agree with his method of working on my role”.
The All Is Well actor shared that the director wanted to cover his every single shot from various angles. He could not repeat the same expression every time as he is an old-school actor. He said that he informed producer Karan Johar that he wanted to quit the film. However, eventually everything worked out. The film also features Ratna Pathak, Rajat Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt and will hit the screens on March 18.
