Ranveer Singh To Turn Rapper?

Rap is the current trend and Ranveer Singh is likely to adapt the fad soon. The live wire of Bollywood may be seen dressed dope as he is all set to turn into a rapper. Well, that doesn’t mean that Ranveer’s fans won’t be able to see their idol reflecting his acting prowess on screens anymore. As a matter of fact, the Gunday actor is going to attain the rapper avatar for a movie on slum rappers.

If recent media reports are to be trusted, the dishy actor will be essaying the role of a rapper in director Zoya Akhtar's next. Reportedly, the character that Ranveer will be portraying in the flick will be that of a guy hailing from the Mumbai slums. A source was quoted as saying, “Ranveer will play a rapper from Dharavi, Mumbai, and will begin shooting for Zoya’s film after the release of Befikre”.

Zoya and Ranveer have earlier teamed up for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. On a related note, Ranveer will next be seen in Aditya Chopra’s ‘Befikre’ opposite Vaani Kapoor on December 9. The actor will also be seen with his lady love Deepika Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.
