Rajesh Khanna is not critically ill

In a big relief to the fans of Bollywood's original superstar, Rajesh Khanna, the rumours that the yesteryear actor is critically ill are not true and the actor is more than fine. Yesterday morning, media was abuzz with the stories that the veteran actor has stopped taking food and is battling with life but later in the day he came out in the balcony of his bungalow, Aashirwad, and flashed the victory sign towards his fans waiting outside. He was accompanied by estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and son-in-law Akshay Kumar. Though the actor looked very frail and a shadow of his original self, it was clear that he is not critically ill. Akshay also tweeted about the condition of his father-in-law, saying he is more than fine. All those spreading rumours, a humble request, get your facts right before reporting and for those genuinely concerned & inquiring about my father in-law's health, he is doing fine now & on the road to recovery. Thank you for your good wishes." Yesterday Rajesh Khannas manager said, "He is hardly eating. People around him are pushing him to eat. He has gone extremely weak. Doctors are attending to him every day." "Dimple arrives at Kakaji's place around 1.30 pm and does not leave before 10 pm. It is physically daunting for Dimple, but it is clear she still cares for Rajesh a lot," a friend said. The star has recently gifted a BMW to his younger daughter Rinke from the money he got from his latest TV commercial of Havells fan. In the meantime, his elder daughter Twinkle, who is pregnant with her second child, has offered prayers with husband Akshay Kumar and son Aarav at a gurudwara in the western suburbs and Rinke came from Kolkata to meet the ailing actor.
