Phillauri: Check out Diljit Dosanjh's rustic look in Anushka Sharma's film

Already a big star in Punjabi films, Diljit Dosanjh is all set for the release of Phillauri, his second Bollywood film after Udta Punjab, opposite Anushka Sharma.

Diljit will be seen as a folk singer in the film. A source close to the film says, “Diljit’s look in the film is unlike what his fans have seen before. He was initially little skeptical about how his fans will react to his new look but he was in for a pleasant surprise and relief when his fans and industry alike showered him with praises for his new look.”

Diljit has decided to use the same costume in one of his upcoming videos as well. He requested the film’s production team and has taken the costume to use it in one of his songs.

“I was little unsure of how audience will react to my new look in the film but their response was heartwarming. The film team was kind enough to give the costume to me. I have decided to use it in one of my songs,” said Diljit.
