Munna Bhai 3 In The Making?

Following the news of Sanjay Dutt meeting director Rajkumar Hirani and Arshad Warsi for dinner, media reports have quoted the PK actor stating, “Munna Bhai bane wali hai. Woh toh hone hi wala hai”. This comes as great news for the fans who have been waiting eagerly for the sequel since it was announced back in 2010.

According to the 2010 announcement made by Hirani, the movie was supposed to be titled Munna Bhai Chale America. Last year, Arshad Warsi stated, “Yes, ‘Munna Bhai 3’ will be made for sure. There is no doubt about that. The script is almost ready and we are waiting for him to come back and relax and then we will start working on it”. Now, it has been reported that the filmmakers are working on a new script for the third instalment which will go on floors next year.

Sanjay recently completed his prison sentence and has been enjoying his time in the free world. He will soon be seen in Kapoor and Sons which is directed by Shakun Batra. The actor is known for his roles in Khalnayak, Vaastav: The Reality and of course, the Munna Bhai films.
