Karan can’t wait to direct Anushka and Aishwarya in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

The announcement alone had created enough stir within the industry when Karan Johar brought forward his plans of directing Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai in his next film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The filmmaker on Thursday night told reporters how excited he was to be working with both actresses since he hasn’t worked with either of them.

"The film that I am directing has Ranbir (Kapoor), Anushka (Sharma) and Aishwarya. I can't wait to direct Anushka and Aishwarya as these are the two girls I haven't worked with at all, I’m very excited”, Karan said. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is reportedly an urban story dealing with modern relationship and issues around it. The film will go to the floors in a couple of months.

Also speaking about the recently announced ‘Kapoor and Sons’, the filmmaker said, it’s a very stylish film starring Fawad Khan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. “There is a triangular love interest in the film. Barring Fawad and Sidharth who play brothers, nobody else is related to them. It's a very stylish film. The cast is stylish. We are excited about the film", he added.
