Kangana Ranaut’s New Co-Stars Are MS Dhoni And Virat Kohli

The makers of an upcoming television advertisement have pulled off a big casting coup. They have managed to rope in Kangana Ranaut, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli for the project. “Things are being kept under wraps as of now. But we know that the ad film will start airing during an upcoming T20 cricket series. It’ll be a one-day shoot that will take place in Mumbai on April 7,” says an insider. The commercial will be directed by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who had directed Kangana in another ad some time back.

So far, only a few Bollywood actresses have teamed up with cricketers for ad films. For instance, Anushka Sharma shot with Kohli, Priyanka Chopra did an ad with Chris Gayle, and Preity Zinta did one with Dhoni. “But this is the first time that two top names from the cricket world will be seen working with a top Bollywood actress. Kangana is looking forward to working with her new co-stars,” adds the insider.

While Kohli and Dhoni are currently on a break after the World T20, Kangana will take out time from her busy schedule to shoot for the ad. “For the past few days, she has been shooting for the last schedule of director Vishal Bhardwaj’s film. It has been very hectic for her, since she has an intense role,” adds the insider.

Despite repeated attempts, neither Kangana nor Hirani could be reached for a comment.
