Kangana Ranaut And Vikas Bahl Are Set to Team Up Again

They last teamed up on the much-talked-about blockbuster Queen (2014) that not only set the cash registers ringing at the box office, but also received critical acclaim. Now, Kangana Ranaut and director Vikas Bahl are set to work together again on a yet-untitled film. Apparently, Kangana and Vikas have been discretely “discussing and chalking out other details” of the project for quite some time now.

“Kangana and Vikas have already had a few detailed discussions about the movie, especially after the release of Shaandaar. They are keeping the details of the film under wraps, but one thing that has been finalised is that Kangana will play a stylish chef in it,” says an insider.

Apparently, as in the case of Queen, Kangana and Vikas started talking about the movie when the director shared a one-line idea with the actor. It instantly impressed her. “As of now, they are just bouncing off ideas, as the script is being developed. Both of them are aware that they have to go beyond Queen with the new film,” adds the insider.

In all likelihood, the movie will go on the floors by mid next year. “Kangana has a few projects lined up, starting with Vishal’s (Bhardwaj; film-maker) next. So, she will wrap up her other commitments in the meantime,” says the insider. Interestingly, it has been revealed that Kangana will undergo training in different cooking techniques to prepare for her role. Neither Kangana nor Vikas could be reached for comments.
