It Was A Spur Of The Moment Thing, Suniel Shetty On Salman’s Rape Remark
As Salman fans were left red faced after his recent controversial statement about rape, a rare support has come for the actor. His old mate, Suniel Shetty has come to his defence and expressed that the Dabangg actor is a good soul, regardless of what he may have said. In a recent promotional event, Salman said that while he was working for his forthcoming flick Sultan, the star felt like raped victim every time he came out of wrestling ring post shoot every time.
"Bas yahin kehna chahunga ki Salman ko achi tareh jaanta hoon aur ho gayi hogi galti se. Par dil se bahut hi acha hain aur 100 percent main keh sakta hoon ki it was just a spur of the moment thing (I just want to say that I know Salman for long time now and he may have made a mistake. However, I can say that he is a great person)", said Suniel.
Earlier, Salim Khan expressed regret on apologizing on behalf of Salman Khan. He posted a statement on a micro blogging side to share his thoughts. Sultan will release on July 6, on the auspicious day of Eid.
