Is Imran Khan All Set To Sign A New Film After Katti Batti?

Despite of being backed up by impressive star cast, influential production house and well-planned promotional events, Imran Khan starrer Katti Batti failed to impress the audience. The romantic drama flick received nothing but poor Box Office collections and bad reviews from the critics. Since then, the Delhi Belly actor is not seen in any other film. Is it the aftermath of Katti Batti’s failure? Well we hope not.

It is being heard that Imran is currently giving all his time to wife Avantika and daughter Imaran. But now, reports of him getting ready to sign a new film are doing the rounds. The reports include that he will be featured in Raj Singh Chaudhary’s next film, a slice-of-life, which is still in a scripting stage.

A source close to the development was quoted as saying that Raj, who has played the lead in Anurag Kashyap's Gulaal, has approached the I Hate Luv Storys actor for the film. The source also added that Imran liked the plot but his confirmation is still awaited. "While Imran has liked the story, he has not signed any film as yet”, said the source.

Reportedly, the director is doing some amendments in the script before presenting it in front of Imran. When the 32-yearold actor was asked about Chaudhary’s film, he has confirmed the news that yes; he has been approached but not signed it yet. While talking about the storyline, he added, "It's promising (the story), but in my opinion, needs work. Anurag also had some ideas for the screenplay, which were to be incorporated in the new draft. So yeah, announcements notwithstanding, there isn’t a locked screenplay yet, nor have we talked dates or money”.
