Hrithik Roshan Rejoices 13 Years Of ‘Koi... Mil Gaya’

Hrithik Roshan made a startling entry into Bollywood with papa Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’ (2000). Since then till now, the hazel eyed actor has given some flops such as ‘Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage’ (2002), semi-hits such as ‘Fiza’ (2000) and blockbusters like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...’ (2001). The saviour to Hrithik’s up-and-down journey in the film industry was ‘Koi... Mil Gaya’ (2003), a science fiction flick which was also directed by his father.

The Sci-fi movie released on August 8 and is 13-year-old now. Though, the actor is occupied with the promotion of his upcoming ‘Mohenjo Daro’, he found time to celebrate his more than a decade old film. The actor took to Twitter and wrote, “A movie that liberated my soul 2 accept ourselves n celebrate our handicaps. Thank u 4 reminding me and celebrating #13yearsofkoimilgaya”.

The flick, which starred Preity Zinta as the female lead, exhibited emotions and bond shared between a differently abled young boy and an alien. The movie garnered several accolades. Hrithik will next be seen on silver screens on August 12 in Ashutosh Gowariker’s epic adventure-romance film opposite Pooja Hegde.
