Gauhar Khan slapped, assaulted for ‘objectionable’ outfit on her show

Gauhar Khan had a rather rough outing when she went out to host the finale of her show she has been anchoring for a popular channel. The actress reportedly was attacked by a member in the audience for allegedly wearing skimpy and inadequate clothes and dancing on outrageous tracks as a Muslim herself. The 24 year old who attacked has been taken under custody and was questioned.

While hosting the show in a filmcity studio, what left everybody in pure shock and disbelief was when a man from the audiences approached Khan and slapped her. She was even ragged into molestation as the witnesses put it. The attacker Mohammed Akil Malik was handled by the security officials immediately.  "Malik had been coming over to the show, as a member of the audience, for the past two to three days. He had been observing Khan. Around 8pm on Sunday, while the shoot was on, Malik suddenly got up and went on the stage. He tried to touch Khan who was taken aback and resisted. Malik then slapped her. He asked her how she could wear skimpy outfits and dance to cheap songs despite being a Muslim," a police official said. 

Gauhar was immediately rescued by show contestants and the security officials present there and the man was then handed over to the police eventually. The appalling incident that took everyone by shock and amazement has left Gauhar in a jolt. The culprit would be produced in court soon.
