Diana Hayden didn't think she was beautiful
One should set out to achieve what one set their hearts on – no matter what people say. And former Miss World Diana Hayden is a living example of the same.
The lady who wowed everyone with her beauty and sharp wit in 19997 to win the coveted beauty pageant says she wasn’t considered beautiful, because Indians are obsessed with fair skin.
“When I was growing up, you weren't really considered beautiful unless you had light skin and light eyes. The only thing I got complimented for while growing up was my hair and the fact that I was outspoken. ‘She’s a ‘bold’ one,’ they used to say,” says Diana. However, she didn’t let that bog her own and became an international personality, who has been spreading awareness about various causes. Recently, she was seen making people aware about cancer and its prevention.
