Despite Enmity, Deepika Padukone Goes All Praises For Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor might have made a strong comment about Deepika Padukone’s fashion sense and said that she doesn’t have a style of her own, but the Piku actress is all praises for Anil Kapoor’s daughter. Deepika was recently quoted as saying, “Sonam dresses up really well”. The statement came in recently at the launch event of Deepika’s clothing line ‘All about You’ in collaboration with Myntra.

The two actresses have been pitted against each other from their debut films, Om Shanti Om and Saawariya, which released on the same date. When they appeared on Koffee With Karan together they seemed to be bonding quite well but Sonam’s comment about Deepika’s style made the friends turn foes. In the next season as well, Sonam made comments about the Cocktail actress that didn’t seem to go well with her. When Karan Johar asked the Khoobsurat star about one thing that Deepika has and she doesn’t, Sonam said, “An over-enthusiastic PR team”.

The two Bollywood divas have been set at odds several other times. Sonam’s statement about choosing to not be vocal for her associations with social causes on social media came around the same time when Deepika announced to work towards the cause of mental health on Twitter. Also, there have been rumours that Deepika was the first choice for Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which eventually went to Sonam Kapoor and is all set to hit the theatres on November 12.
