Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra To Reunite For Anees Bazmee's ‘Mubarakan’

If recent reports are to be trusted, actor Arjun Kapoor, who is set to be sharing screen space with uncle Anil Kapoor in Anees Bazmee's ‘Mubarakan’, will be pairing up with his first co-star Parineeti Chopra for the flick. The ‘Ki & Ka’ actor made his Bollywood debut with ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012) alongside the ‘Kill Dil’ actress. A source from the industry was quoted as saying that the ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ star has met the makers but nothing has been finalised as yet.

Currently, the movie is in its scripting stages and other members of the cast are being finalized. Reportedly, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde, who produced Abhishek Sharma’s comedy film ‘The Shaukeens’, have been roped in to produce ‘Mubarakan’. Earlier, the flick was supposed to be helmed by Milap Zaveri but things didn’t work out.

Arjun is presently prepping for ‘Half Girlfriend’, in which he will star opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The flick is being made under the direction of filmmaker Mohit Suri. Scheduled to release on April 28 next year, the movie will be shot in varied locations from Bihar, Delhi to New York.
