Amitabh, Salman, Akshay Beat Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt

Beating the Hollywood stars, such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are the three Indian celebrities who have made it to the top 10 in the Forbes list of highest paid actors. Further, the list of 34 global actors includes Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan as well. Out of the 12 newcomers in the list this year, 5 are from India.
Surprisingly, Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan share the 7th position, earning $33.5 million in the past year. While Big B has done 150 movies so far, in his 50-year career, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan has done 80 movie0073 since Maine Pyar Kiya, which released in 1989. “Though such lawsuits may have doomed his career stateside, Khan maintains a loyal following, particularly among India's provincial moviegoers”, read a statement in Forbes. Akshay Kumar was ranked 9th in the list with $32.5 million earnings in the same time frame, which is same to Brad Pitt’s haul.
While Shah Rukh Khan was ranked 18th on the list, Ranbir Kapoor was ranked 30th. “Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor is one of Bollywood's top male actors and joins the World's Highest-Paid Actors list for the first time. He banks a decent pay check from movies such as "Roy" and "Bombay Velvet”, read another statement in Forbes.
