Spyder’s Nizam Rights Sold For 25 Crore
Updated : May 30, 2017 12:55 PM IST South superstar Mahesh Babu has time and again proved his supremacy in the Tollywood industry with his flicks and he is once again set to rule the box-office with upcoming flick, Spyder, under the direction of AR Murugadoss. Made on a budget of Rs.100 crores, the spy thriller drama is one of the movies that fans are waiting for eagerly. As the actor’s last outing, Brahmotsavam, failed to create the sensation like his other movies, expectations are high with Sypder.
The film has been raking in money even before its release. Earlier, Zee Network bought the film’s satellite rights for a price of Rs 15 crore and now reports are rife that distributor-producer Dil Raju has bought the movie’s distribution rights of Nizam area. Nizam majorly affects a film’s box-office collection as more than 50% of a Tollywood revenue is generated only from Nizam area.
Clearly, the film is profitable before its release. On a related note, the film stars Rakul Preet Singh opposite Babu. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, the film is being produced by N.V. Prasad and Tagore Madhu.
