Saikumar High On Expectations From Son Aadi
Updated : April 06, 2016 11:03 AM IST Indian film dubbing artist Saikumar has pinned a lot of hopes on his son Aadi who has suffered back-to-back failures in his career so far. The actor has given a series of flops including Sukumarudu, Pyar Mein Padipoyane, Rough and Galipatam. The Prema Kavali star will now be seen in a romantic comedy action film Garam which marks the debut of his parents as producers.
The Dialogue King believes that the success or failure of a movie is a measure of its soul. The 55-year-old television presenter stated, "The audience connects with a film because it has a soul. And all elements in Garam are built around this soul. I had immense faith in director Madan, and the script that Aadi has chosen. That is the only reason I took over this project”.
The artist further added, “Aadi is a producer's actor. Punctuality is essential, particularly for the lead actor in a movie. They stand foremost in building the morale of the entire crew. And Aadi was extremely disciplined in this regard”. Saikumar has produced his son’s next with wife Surekha.
Garam is a romantic action entertainer movie with all other commercial elements. The film is written by Sreenivas Gavireddy and reportedly narrates a story of a rowdy guy who falls in love with a Muslim girl.
