Rajamouli in Hyderabad on Wednesday, rumour mills were abuzz that the duo might team up soon. But, a source close to the director rubbished these rumours. Apart from this meeting, the music maestro also wished Sania Mirza on becoming the world no. 1 doubles player.
The source said, "It's the first time Rajamouli has had a private meeting with AR Rahman. It was a very casual conversation that lasted for nearly 20 minutes and AR Rahman was curious to know more about Baahubali and he said that he was eagerly waiting to watch the film. Moreover, AR Rahman liked both Magadheera and Eega, and he wanted to meet Rajamouli for quite some time now. Since he was in the city, the two decided to meet each other. Rahman knows the Rajamouli's family from a long time because of his association with M.M. Keeravaani. "
Rahman had worked with Keeravaani more than two decades ago and in the course of the discussion, Rahman also asked Rajamouli about how Keeravaani was doing. It was a simple conversation and there was no discussion about the two working together in near future", the source added.
