Nani Has Not Opted Out Of Mani Ratnam’s Bilingual Project

Few days back it was reported that Mani Ratnam’s bilingual project featuring Nani and Karthi in lead has been shelved. Reports suggested that the project was put on hold because of call sheet problem of some actors. Also, Karthi and one of the film’s female lead Keerthy Suresh opted out of the venture. Speculations were rife that Nani has also left the project, and this was being considered as one of the major reasons of shelving the film. But looks like, these were just rumours.

According to reports, the Eega actor has not walked out of the flick and the project is still on. It is still not known that when the film will go on floors, but it is certain that the project has not been put on hold. Earlier, on many occasions Nani expressed his wish or working with the director and said he would not let such an opportunity go.

Nithya Menen will be seen playing one of the female leads in the flick. We will have to wait for an official announcement regarding the announcement of the project. The film is touted to be a romantic action drama.
