K. Raghavendra Rao Busy Scouting Locales For Film With Nagarjuna
Updated : April 06, 2016 11:09 AM IST After delivering blockbuster film ‘Oopiri’, Nagarjuna is gearing up for his next film. He has collaborated with director K. Raghavendra Rao for his next venture. The director has started with the pre-production activities of the film.
Reports suggest that Raghavendra Rao is currently busy scouting locations for the flick. He along with his team is scouting for locales in Karnataka and Kerala. The team has picked few locations in the Chikmagalur forests of Karnataka. It is a much cooler place compared to the other locations in the southern part of the country.
The project is touted to be a devotional film and it will be set in the 17th century. The Manam actor will be portraying the role of Baba Haathi Ram ji, a legendary devotee of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala. Hence, a giant set resembling the 17th century Tirupati will be erected by the unit. Speculations are rife that senior actor Suman will be roped in to play the role of Lord Venkateswara in the flick, however, an official confirmation is awaited. The film is expected to go on floors in May.
