Ileana D'Cruz To Romance Ram Charan In Telugu Version Of’ Thani Oruvan’?

The pre-production work of the Telugu remake of ‘Thani Oruvan’ started last month. It is already known that Ram Charan will play the protagonist in the film while the hunt for the leading lady is still on. Many popular faces have been linked with the project and now another name is being linked for the role of the female lead.

According to reports, director Surender Reddy is planning to rope in Ileana D'Cruz to play the leading lady inn his flick. The director has worked with the actress in Ravi Teja starrer ‘Kick’ and shares a good rapport with her. The makers are in talks with the Julayi actress as of now.

Earlier, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha were linked with the role of the female lead. Reportedly, the makers have made slight changes to the script so that the film suits the Telugu audience. Speculations are rife that Arvind Swamy will play antagonist for the Telugu version as well. However, an official confirmation is yet to be received.
