Prathap Santhosh’s Upcoming Movie Ghajinikanth’s Poster Receives Criticism

Director Prathap Santhosh, who shot to fame with the adult content movie Hara Hara Maha Devaki, revealed the poster of his upcoming movie Ghajinikanth yesterday on the occasion of Rajinikanth ’s birthday. But, the poster was neither revealed by the director nor by the film’s main lead, Arya. It was revealed by actor Suriya .

Arya’s looks in the flick have been designed after megastar Rajinikanth’s famous looks from his 1988 release Dharmathin Thalaivan. However, there are some people including producer Radhakrishnan, the former secretary of TFPC, who did not like the poster. They have said that the poster humiliates Superstar Rajinikanth who has brought laurels and respect to Indian film industry.

“Rajini sir is Tamil cinema’s pride and identity. Why should Gnanavel Raja name his film as Ghajinikath, bringing disrespect to Rajinikanth sir and releasing a poster on the latter’s birthday?  We strongly condemn Gnanavel Raja for his unpleasant act,” said Radhakrishnan.

Ghajinikanth produced by Gnanavel Raja stars Sayyesha Saigal opposite Arya.
