Nayantara, the costliest heroine of Tamil film industry

Film actress Nayantara is doing well these days as her last flicks Raja Rani and Arrambam have done pretty good business. For that reason, she has raised her bar and is charging a bomb to work in the next. Well, as per the buzz hovering in town, the actress has been paid a whopping amount of Rs. 1.25 crore in an upcoming flick starring Simbu in the main lead.

Silambarasan produces the yet untitled romantic comedy directed by Pandiraj. With this, she has become the first actress to charge such a high amount in a Tamil flick. All the other producers, who had Nayantara in their lists, have to raise the budget now. This will also be the first film of Simbu and Nayantara together after their split. The couple broke up sometime back and were avoiding each other. The 29-year-old has 4 more projects in her kitty i.e. Anamika, Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal, Production No.5 and Radha.
