Kollywood Stands For Jallikattu!

Jallikattu has for sure brought the Kollywood and the state to a standstill. The A-listers of the industry have decided to come in together to show their support for this traditional bull-taming festival. This would be organised by cine association of the region, where they are staging a hunger strike at the Nadigar Sangam grounds in T Nagar.

Stars such as Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Vijay have already confirmed their participation. Now, the latest we hear is that Ajith will be there as well to lend his support for Jallikattu. Needless to say that every possible star has stood for bull-taming sport and is criticizing Supreme Court’s decision.

However, Marina Beach protesters have criticized stars to choose the venue as per their convenience and suggested that the stars should have come at the beach instead. The issue has spread all over, as now the latest we hear is about theatre associations across the state cancelling all the screening of films.
