Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's 'Kaali' To Star These Four Actresses In The Lead Roles!

Filmmaker Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is known to have helmed movies such as Uyir... Uravu... Unmai... and Vanakkam Chennai. Udhayanidhi also runs the lifestyle magazine Inbox 1305. The director is married to movie producer and actor Udhayanidhi Stalin.

Kiruthiga will be helming the upcoming movie ‘Kaali’, which will star Vijay Antony. Earlier, it was known that actresses Sunainaa and Amritha will be playing as the lead actresses. Now, actresses Anjali and Shilpa Manjunath have also been roped in as the lead actresses. Regarding the movie, Kiruthiga was quoted as saying, “Anjali will be playing one of the four female leads, but I cannot talk about her role because it is crucial to the plot. I chose Shilpa because I liked her unconventional look in a short video clip of hers that I came across. We did a test shoot and I felt that she would be apt for the role. This will be her launch in Tamil industry”.

The director further revealed that the actresses will be portraying equivalent roles. She endeed her statement saying, “The film is a suspense drama and rather than just being romantic interests, these characters will also be important parts in the story”.
