Karthi Nagarjuna’s Hollywood Remake Gets Official Title

Known for his roles in movies like Madras and Komban, which were much appreciated by the audience, Karthi wil next be seen in director Gokul’s Kashmora. He will also be seen in a remake of the Hollywood film The Intouchables which was a true story about an unlikely relationship between a quadriplegic and his care taker. The project has received its official title – Thozha.

Thozha will have Telugu Super star Nagarjuna, Tamannah and French actress Gabriella Dematriades sharing screen space. It was also reported that Anushka will be present in the film for a cameo role. It will be directed by Vamsi Paidipalli. Thozha will see both a Tamil and Telugu release.

The movie will be produced by PVP Cinemas and has been extensively shot in France. The Telugu version of the film will be titled Oopiri. Director Raju Murugan, known for his film Cuckoo, and senior journalist Murugesh Babu have written the dialogues for the Tamil version of the film.
