Kangana Ranaut will crown the 'queen' herself: Thiagarajan

Earlier this month, actor-producer-director Thiagarajan made headlines after he bagged the remake rights of Bollywood blockbuster Queen. Apart from Tamil, the producer will also remake the film in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. But who will be Thiagarajan’s ‘Queen’? The BIG question still remains unanswered.

According to the latest reports, actress Kangana Ranaut who originally essayed the role of ‘Rani’ in Vikas Bahl-directed film will be present during the official announcement. In fact, the actress will announce the name herself. Confirming the news, Thiagarajan said, "Yes, when the official announcement is made, Kangana Ranaut will crown the 'queen' herself. It is most likely to happen in the next couple of weeks." When Thiagarajan was asked who will reprise the role, the director replied, "We are considering many names. Whoever has the appropriate dates to allot to the film will be finalized. That is all I can reveal now." Many names come across our minds but we guess, Tammannaah, Shruti Haasan, Anushka are on the top of our list.

Kangana Ranaut starrer Queen did extremely well at the Box Office. Queen as well as Ranaut's performance, won a lot of appreciation from fans and film critics. The film was declared a ‘Hit’ by Box Office India.
